College shifts recruiting strategy to stop enrollment decline Megan Rogers, Alton Business Review

Fulton-Montgomery Community College will focus more on recruiting international students and students from New York City, as the number of high school graduates near the college campus continue to decrease. Dustin Swanger, president of Fulton-Montgomery Community College, is expanding the college's student recruitment efforts outside of the two counties the college serves to prepare the two-year school for shifting demographics in New York state. Fulton-Montgomery Community College in Johnstown, New York, will focus more on recruiting international students, as well as students from the New York City metropolitan area, as the number of high school graduates near the college campus continues to decline.
