Illinois State Universities Under Strain as Budget Stalemate Enters 7th Month - Paul Caine, WTTW

With the state budget standoff in its seventh month and little apparent urgency from Springfield, we talk with the presidents of Governors State and Northeastern Illinois Universities as the funding crisis deepens. We also hear from a student who relies on state assistance to attend college about his fears for the future if education funding from the state does not come through. Joining us are Sharon Hahs, president of Northeastern Illinois University; Justin Smith, a sophomore student and business major at Governors State University; and Elaine Maimon, president of Governors State University. http://chicagotonight.wttw.com/2016/01/12/state-universities-under-strain-budget-stalemate-enters-7th-month
