College of Lake County to trim 20 positions due to state budget crisis - Justin Glawe, Chicago Tribune

The College of Lake County announced it will cut 20 staff positions because of a state budget impasse, which has affected other colleges and universities across the state. Of the 20 positions, 15 are currently vacant, said Eric Tammes, interim director of public relations at the Grayslake-based college. Tammes said CLC has already raised tuition in an effort to make up for $8 million in funds it did not receive because a state budget has not been passed. http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/lake-county-news-sun/news/ct-lns-clc-cuts-st-0402-20160401-story.html
